Scott Crosby, Lead Pastor
Scott has over 24 years of ministry experience in urban settings, serving at Liberti Fairmount in Philadelphia, Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Manhattan, and also as a pastoral intern in Nashville. Scott, his wife Anne Marie, and their children Ezra and Honor identify deeply with an emphasis on the gospel of grace as not just the way that we get to know God, but the way that we grow in our relationship with God as well. Scott and his family thrive in diverse and creative contexts, and Scott especially enjoys helping leaders at various levels and backgrounds to develop and work to their fullest potential in the gospel. Scott's greatest joy in ministry is getting to know Jesus more deeply in relationship with others. For down time, Scott enjoys laughing with his wife and kids, and at the antics of their crazy bulldog and rescued alley cat playing together. He loves to cook and eat good food with friends. He also enjoys playing the guitar, cycling, and studying Wing Chun Kung Fu.
Evan Curry, Community Life & Operations Manager
Evan is a native of Northeast Philadelphia, where he currently lives with his wife and four children. He is a card-carrying Philadelphian and is unapologetically zealous for this city. Evan has held various pastoral roles over the past 10 years at a number of churches across the Philadelphia area, including currently leading efforts to plant Liberti Northeast. Evan is a graduate of Cairn University and Biblical Seminary. He enjoys spending time with his wife and family, drinking coffee, watching more Netflix than he probably should, reading less than he probably should, and cheering for Manchester United, the Eagles, Phillies, Sixers, and Flyers. His greatest accomplishments in life have been advancing the human race fourfold and winning tickets to the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. Evan's main emphases are trusting the Lord, seeing the gospel grow in a person's life, and helping fathers and husbands develop into better leaders.
SImeon Church, Music Director
Simeon is a native of South Jersey who moved to Philadelphia in 2014 to begin studies at Temple University. Simeon is the youngest of 7 musician siblings. He began leading worship at 15 and believes that as music is a gift he has been given, giving back in worship is a means of tithing his abilities. Simeon's primary desire in worship is to balance the reverence called for when worshiping in the presence of our Almighty God and the joy and casual ease of being in the presence of our friend and elder brother, Jesus. Simeon is a composer who writes concert music and music for film. Simeon will listen to Arvo Part for breakfast, Steve Reich for lunch, and go to a punk concert for dinner.
