Our Team
We have a team of staff and elders who enjoy living and serving our community together, in the unique ways God has called each of us.
Scott Crosby
"I want people to know Jesus better as they are living the actual texture of their lives, not just in a Sunday service, but in their relationships, their work, their doubts, and their ordinary days. At Liberti, that means preaching that takes the gospel seriously and takes real life seriously, community that aspires to go deep, and a growing commitment to serving our neighbors with hands and not words only. The same calling draws me to pursue doctoral research at the intersection of faith and AI: how human beings and computational systems can participate together faithfully according to their distinct natures. I call this work cross-ontological flourishing."
Pastor
Ben Greenman
"I feel called to help people experience Jesus in tangible and personal ways across every part of life. Whether through music and art, relationships with students and young people, or simply sharing life alongside others, I want to create spaces where people can encounter Him honestly and deeply. I believe Jesus meets us in every corner of our lives, not just in obviously spiritual moments, and my desire is to keep exploring that truth and sharing it with as many people as possible."

ELDERS
Chad Eason
Elder
"God had called us to various places and provided beautifully in each instance. Philadelphia was good, but we were preparing to move on. God had something else in mind and he called us to stay. We now have three children here and remade our professional livelihoods twice. Our vision is to be a vessel that helps bring God’s kingdom to this city."
STAFF
Justin Smith
Men’s Ministry
"I feel called to assist all in their walk with God, especially men. I have had many profound experiences and encounters with Jesus and desire to cultivate those experiences for others to help build trust and faith in our Good Father. I believe that God had in mind a life available for us when he sent Jesus to the cross for us and my deep desire is to live that life to the fullest in honor of the sacrifice Jesus made on our behalf wherever that leads."
Scott Baber
Elder
“I’ve enjoyed finding a church in the heart of the bustling city that we love where people from all walks of life converge for just a moment or sometimes a lifetime and how God's love can be seen through all of these encounters.”
Paul Thelen
Elder in training
“We love being in a church in the neighborhood where we are in walking distance of other church members, so we can do life together. I am an elder in training because God put this path on my heart! In training, I am equipping myself to watch over and guide others in our community.”
Diana Smith
Communications Director
Women’s Ministry
“My heart is for people to experientially know God's love - whether that's through invitation into fun and play, through organizing meals and time together or through cultivating experiences of community. God's presence and love have healed me and changed my life in beautiful ways, and I want to share the availability of that with our community and our neighbors."
Thomas Rockett
Elder
“I long to care for the souls of those who have lost hope in the church, but haven't lost hope in God. I long to be a good neighbor to those who live near me. And I hope I'm a wise and fair small business owner that is leaving a lasting impact on the city.”
